Glenda Sellars Allen

Glenda Sybil Allen, 64, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 4, 2013.

Glenda was born on November 22, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith. Glenda retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a Procurement Clerk. She enjoyed making crafts and especially enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her loving family. Her father, Joseph M. Sellars, and her sister, Helen S. Fuqua, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Vicki L. Wooten, Dublin; Robert L. Wooten (Bobbi), Warner Robins; Joel W. Wooten, Dublin; mother, Mildred Merritt Sellars, Dublin; grandchildren, April, Jacob, and Maddi Wooten, all of Warner Robins; brother, David M. Sellars, Kathleen; two nieces, Amy F. Self, Dublin; and Katelyn M. Sellars, Sandersville.

A Memorial Service celebrating Glenda's life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the donor's favorite charity.
