Glenn Edward Lomax

April 27, 1946 — March 6, 2016

Glenn Lomax, 69, went to be with the Lord on the afternoon of Sunday, March 6, 2016.

Glenn was born in Hanford, California to James Lomax and the late Thelma Kirk Thomason. He was a proud Navy Veteran and retired from the Blue Bird Corporation in Fort Valley. Glenn was also a longtime member of Central Baptist Church and For His Glory Sunday School Class.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife Debra Ann Lomax of Warner Robins; sons, Glenn Lomax, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas, Anthony Hutton (Darlene) of Austin, Arkansas and Jason Hutton (Pamela) of Advance, North Carolina; grandchildren, Bethany Gray (Adam) and Heath Hutton, both of Austin, Arkansas, Alexa, Mikaylah and Lilianna Hutton, all of Advance, North Carolina, and Joseph Lomax of Wichita Falls, Texas; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Kassidy Gray, both of Austin, Arkansas and Aria Kindell of Crestview, Florida; father, James Lomax of Azle, Texas; siblings, Linda Murphy (David) of Weatherford, Texas, Leisa DeCoster of Montgomery, Texas, Michael Thomason of Kennard, Texas, and Johnny Holifield (Jamee) and Darrell Holifield (Kim), both of Chapin, South Carolina; and a number of loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Owen Bozeman officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be given in memory of Glenn to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
