Glennis Lashley Hogg

On the morning of Friday, May 11, 2018, Glennis Lashley Hogg, 73, walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Glennis was born in Perry, Georgia on March 2, 1945 to Edith and Jerry M. Lashley, Sr. A 1963 graduate of Warner Robins High School, she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Bonaire Elementary School for 24 years. Mrs. Hogg ended her 30-year career with the Houston County Board of Education at Eagle Springs Elementary School. She was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church. In her free time, Glennis loved traveling, going on cruises, crafting and scrapbooking. She was a loving and caring person who unconditionally loved her family, children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Lashley; and her brother-in-law, Donald Wilson.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas Watson Hogg of Bonaire; children, Shawn T. Hogg (Angela) of Warner Robins and Traci H. Silva of Bonaire; grandchildren, Chelsea H. Russell, Kyndall M. Hogg, Chandler M. Silva, and Adrianna M. Silva; great-grandchildren, Landen T. Russell and Griffen L. Russell; sisters, Ruby Wilson of Warner Robins and Hazel Hopkins (Jim) of Bonaire; brothers, Jerry Lashley, Jr. (Jane) of Lithia Springs, Georgia and Benny Lashley (Anne) of Jonesboro; sister-in-law, Debbie Lashley of Kathleen; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Clark officiating. After the service, Glennis will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Mrs. Hogg to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Rd., PMB#359, Macon, GA 31210 or Southside Baptist Church, 1040 S. Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
