Gloria Carden Norris

Gloria Norris, 65, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

Gloria was born on January 29, 1951 in Bremen, Georgia to the late Milton and Inez McClung Carden. She was employed as a Service Agent at Geico Insurance Agency until her retirement. Gloria loved animals; especially cats and enjoyed cooking, reading, and nurturing her beloved family. She was a generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Gloria made an impact on everyone she came in contact with and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 34 years, John Richard Norris of Warner Robins; children, Michele McDonough of Warner Robins; Michael McDonough (Brandi) of Byron; step-children, Natalie Norris Lollis (Chip) of Perry; Jeff Norris (Kyoko) of Atlanta; Sonya Norris Dykes (Joey) of Vidalia; Stephen Norris (Michelle) of Athens; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Bell of Valdosta; as well as 2 nephews.

Visitation with Gloria's family will be Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service Gloria will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Gloria Carden Norris to the Humane Society of Houston County, P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, Ga 31095.
