Grady Jordan, Jr.

Grady Jordan, Jr., 94, entered into rest on Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Mr. Jordan was born on November 6, 1919 in Savannah, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Navy. Grady retired from Pan American Airlines where he worked as a Mechanic. Grady enjoyed playing the harmonica, especially during the Christmas Holiday. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Smoak Jordan; beloved wife, Helen Grace Jordan; daughter, Dolores Ann Daniels; brothers, Robert Joseph Jordan and James M. Jordan, and great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Motes.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Sandra Jean Kennedy and her husband, Ken Kennedy, Sr., Centerville; brothers and sisters, Eugene and Flo Jordan, Columbia, South Carolina; Alfred and Frances Jordan, Pensacola, Florida; Rosemary Taylor, Orange Park, Florida; Betty Joyce, of West Virginia; grandchildren, Carrie and Jim Motes, Anderson, South Carolina; Ken and Sherri Kennedy, Clearfield, Utah; Connie and Jim Furno, Lake Wales, Florida; Dawn Wetherington, Centerville; eight great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and one on the way; devoted caregivers, Scarlett Folsom and Myrna Cofield.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday, November 23, at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be given to Westside Christian Academy, 1101 Dunbar Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
