Greta Louise Campbell

October 10, 1931 — October 24, 2021

Ninety-year-old Greta Campbell of Warner Robins passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Greta was born on October 10, 1931, the strong-willed daughter of the late Leslie and Bonnie Smith Stanfield. She was raised in Hobbs, New Mexico. When Greta was passionate about something, she gave 100 percent effort every time. She was competitive and if she was participating in something, Greta was in it to win it. She and her late husband Jack D. Campbell, loved to travel in their fifth-wheel trailer and have a nice yard. She liked to ski, hike, be outdoors, and garden. She wanted to have the best yard in the neighborhood. She also enjoyed a good game of golf and playing bridge.

In addition to her parents, Greta was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Campbell.

Those left to carry on her independent spirit are her daughters, Cecilia Billow and Marsha Myers; sons, Jack D. Campbell, Jr. and Robert D. Campbell; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister Betty Jo Larson.
