Grover Cleveland Bagley, Iii

Corpsman First Class Grover Cleveland Bagley, III, USN (Ret.) age 72, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on January 1, 2021, in Dublin, Georgia.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, on November 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Grover C. Bagley, Jr. and Louise Evelyn Watson Bagley.

Grover retired from the U.S. Navy and spent 15 years as a Transplant Technician. While in the Navy, he was awarded four Good Conduct Medals, a National Defense Service Medal and a Navy Achievement Medal. After his Navy career, Grover worked as a surgical technician for The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Navicent Health. He was a dedicated member of Second Baptist Church and the Kindred Spirit Sunday School Class. Grover was a 32-degree Mason and Shriner.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Wanda Lee Bagley of Byron, son, Grover C. Bagley, IV of Dahlonega; brother John Bagley of Southhill, Virginia; and sisters, Roberta Manring of Sebring, Florida, and Mary Peake of Holly, Michigan.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Reverend Gary Morton will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grover’s memory to the Second Baptist Church Helping Hearts, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
