Gwendolynn Mae Kretsinger

Gwenn Kretsinger, 100, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Gwenn was born on August 13, 1921, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the only child of the late Rex and Stella Heavilin. During World War II, Gwenn worked for the Monsanto Chemical Research Laboratory. In 1946, she married her love, Leland Kretsinger. Gwenn and her family moved to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania in 1953 where she worked in the Elizabethtown Area School District. During 1965, Gwenn and her family moved to Warner Robins where she was employed at Robins Air Force Base in the Department of Civilian Personnel until her retirement. She was a longtime volunteer for the Houston County Department of Family and Children’s Services and the Secretary for the Westminster Presbyterian Church for over twenty years.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, Gary Kretsinger and his wife, Susan.

At the family’s request all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Gwendolynn Kretsinger to the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 303 Mary Lane, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
