H. Allan Bohn

February 14, 1939 — May 12, 2017

Early on the morning of Friday, May 12, 2017, Harry Allan Bohn, 78, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.

Mr. Bohn was born on February 14, 1939 in State College, Pennsylvania to the late John and Margaret Schultz Bohn. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning his career with South Jersey Industries from where he eventually retired as a service inspector. A faithful follower of Christ, Mr. Bohn was an active member of Mikado Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. He enjoyed camping and loved to travel the country, having visited every state except Alaska. In recent years, his favorite hobby was walking through the Arizona and looking for rocks. Known as a Rockhound, he collected rocks and stones of various shapes and sizes. But, his greatest passion in life was his loving family. He was a devoted husband and father, and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He was preceded in death by brother, Stanley Bohn, and his sister, Louise Davis.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 57 years, Elsie Rice Bohn; his children, Michael Bohn (Vicky) of Warner Robins, Daniel Bohn of Macon, and Suzanne Bohn Rhodes (Russell) of Powell, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Allan Rhodes (Valerie), Andrew Rhodes, Emily Case (Matthew), Alexander Bohn, Jeremiah Bohn, Bradley Canfield (Autumn), and Patricia Orchard (Joey); and his great-grandchildren, Ella Rhodes, Caleb Canfield, Logan Canfield, Micah Canfield, and Dylan Orchard.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Bohn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10th at Mikado Baptist Church.
