Harold Burdette Hoopes

Early on the morning of Saturday, December 23, 2017, Harold Burdette Hoopes, 100, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.

Mr. Hoopes was born on May 25, 1917, in Gage, Oklahoma to the late James Monroe and Daisy Emma Titus Hoopes. He and his beloved wife, Margaret, moved to Warner Robins in 1962 and remained in their same home until moving into assisted living in 2016. Mr. Hoopes proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before beginning a career in civil service as an aircraft mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and their daughter Rena L. Hoopes.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Randy G. Hoopes (LaDonna) and Daryl D. Hoopes (Allison); his grandsons, Christopher A. Hoopes, Joseph D. Hoopes, and Aaron B. Hoopes; his granddaughter, Margo L. Hoopes; his great-granddaughter, Avery M. Hoopes; and his great-grandson, Ayden B. Hoopes.

At the family’s request, there will be no formal service.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Hoopes’s arrangements.
