Harold Otto Wallen, Sr.

Harold Otto Wallen, Sr., 88 (89), passed away on Friday, August 4, 2006. Burial was held on Saturday, August 5, 2006 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Southside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday the 12th at Southside Baptist. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church 1040 S. Mr. Wallen was born on August 7, 1917 in Delphos, Ohio. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Wallen was a life-long farmer and the oldest carry-out employee of Publix Supermarket. He built many churches. He enjoyed baseball, coon hunting, spending time with his loving family and his beloved dog, Peaches. His parents, Benjamin A. Wallen and Elizabeth Fiddler Wallen, infant daughter, Charlotte Wallen, and a baby brother, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of sixty eight years, Marjorie E. Wallen, Warner Robins; children, Lois Wills, Kathleen; Barbara Jentz (Bill), Warner Robins; Harold Wallen, Jr. (Kathy), Lynchburg, OH; Malcolm Wallen (Dona), Atlanta; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, sister, Mary Dysinger, OH; brothers, Bernard Wallen, CA; and Walter Wallen, OH.
