Harvey Theo Prince

Harvey Theo Prince, age 78, passed away at the Houston Medical Center on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Born on September 28, 1943 in Thomaston, Georgia, Theo was the son of the late Marvin William and Pearl Ivester Prince. A 1961 graduate of Warner Robins High School, he was a player on the 1961 basketball team. He married Jan Ethridge Prince on August 26, 1972. He worked for Paulk Auto Parts for 26 years before working as a parts manager for the City of Warner Robins for 21 years, retiring in 2019. An avid car guy, Theo loved anything to do with automobiles, including working on them. When one was with Theo, there was never a dull moment. He had a quick wit and a quirky sense of humor. A devout reader, Theo loved to learn and ask questions of the world around him. Most of all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

In addition to his parents, Theo was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ida Mae and Bryce Ivester and Alma Youngblood and Albert Lester Prince; and his brother, Melton Prince.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife of 49 years, Jan Prince; children, Shannon Dimsdale, Brandon Prince, and Ryan Prince (Ashley); grandchildren, Jessica Rincon (Nick), Elizabeth Dimsdale, Michael Dimsdale, Asa Prince, Braeden Prince, and Davis Prince; great grandchild, Maya Rincon; sister, Marsha Peyton; and sister-in-law, Mary Prince.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation. All other services will be private. He will be laid to rest privately.
