Helen "Faye" Breland

October 27, 1945 — June 27, 2017

In the late evening hours of Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Faye Breland, 71, was reunited with her late husband, James Daniel Breland.

Faye was born on October 27, 1945 in Cochran, Georgia to the late Cleveland and Rubye Bethune. As a teenager, she enjoyed writing short stories and poetry. Faye was a graduate of Eilsen Air Force Base High School in Fairbanks, Alaska and for many years was an Office Manager for different companies. Faye was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent cook who loved spending time with her husband. Together they delighted in ballroom dancing at the local Moose Lodge, fishing, having a big fish fry gathering with friends, and taking frequent trips to Biloxi, Mississippi.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Kim Potter (Les) of Newnan; son, Neal Lowery (Denise) of Byron; step-daughters, Ashlin Breland and Katherine Bradley; step-son, Scott Breland; 4 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom Bethune (Vivian) of Perry.

At the family's request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Faye Breland to the Alzheimer's Association online at act.alz.org/donate.
