Helen Jean Brown

December 9, 1935 — January 11, 2021

It is with great sadness we have lost another one of our beautiful souls, Helen Jean Brown, on Monday January 11, 2021, in Chattanooga, TN.

Helen, 85 years young, joins her husband of 42 years, Harvey Brown, her son, Clifford Brown, her brother, Ronald Webb and her sister, Virginia Bradley. Helen is survived by her daughter, Connie Thompson (H. Clay), her grandson Jason Thompson (Kalle), her granddaughter, Brittany Thompson-Albarran (Hector), her nephew, Clint Webb (Michelle), her sisters, Kathy Griffin and Judy Brown, and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Helen, born in Middleton, TN, was raised in Lumber City, GA, and after marriage relocated to Warner Robins, GA. She was a fearless protector, wife and mother who could truly do anything. Give her any three random items, and she would create something beautiful. Helen spent her life spreading joy to others- with jokes, pranks, songs, stories, games and laughter that would take your breath away. She made those around her feel ever loved and always supported. As a master of games with a competitive spirit, she was always the winner whether it be cards, bingo, or dominoes. Forever remembered for her delicious cooking, beautiful sewing, contagious laughter, and profound love for all her family and friends, she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Magnolia Park Mausoleum. A funeral service celebrating the life of Helen will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Afterward, Helen will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. At the family’s request, please social distance and wear a mask or facial covering.

For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
