Henry L. Word, 75, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2008.
Mr. Word was born on October 13, 1932 in Lowell, North Carolina. A graduate of Auburn University, Mr. Word served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as an electrical engineer. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a 32nd Degree Mason. His daughter, Virginia Word, and parents, Joe and Annie Word, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Word, Warner Robins; daughter, Emily Word, Warner Robins; son, Joe Word, Ohio; grandson, John Christopher Sletto, Warner Robins.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008, in McCullough Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Reverend Glynn Grantham officiating.
