Herbert Lee Kitchens, Jr.

Herbert Lee Kitchens, Jr., 59, entered into rest on Sunday, January 19, 2014.

Herbert was born on April 15, 1954 in Macon, Georgia. He graduated from Emory University with an Associate's Degree and was a Respiratory Therapist for several years. His parents, Herbert Lee Kitchens, Sr. and Clyde Vivian Kitchens, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of thirty-nine years, Virginia Kitchens of Byron; children, Maria Grant (John) of Byron, Herbert Lee Kitchens, III of Atlanta, James Kitchens, Sr. (Ashley) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Rebecca Stewart (Brian) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Miriam, Noah, Simon, Chloe, Alyssa, Katrina, Kit, Kale, Karabelle, Ethan, Evan, one on the way, Payton; and the family dog, ''Rock.''

The family will have a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Byron United Methodist Church (CFC). Burial will be private.
