October 23, 1927 — November 25, 2018

On the evening of Sunday, November 25, 2018, Hollis Virgil Caldwell, 91, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.

Mr. Caldwell was born on October 23, 1927, in Kathleen, Georgia to the late James B. and Velma Rackley Caldwell. A long-time, faithful member of First Assembly of God (now The Assembly), he was also a member of Warner Robins Moose Lodge 1688.

Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Ogg Caldwell, after twenty-one years of marriage; his second wife, Margaret Hooks Shepherd Caldwell, after eleven years of marriage; his third wife, Betty Davidson Clay Caldwell, after thirty-eight years of marriage; his brother, James Fulton Caldwell; his daughters, Glenda Lazaurs and Shirley Harte; his grandson, Herman Hal Lazaurs; and his great grandson, Kaleb Dockery.

His memory will forever be treasured by his son-in-law and best friend, Richard Lazaurs (Ann) of Centerville; his stepson, Randy Clay (Rebecca) of Millbrook, Alabama; his stepdaughters, Sherry Yawn (Jeff) of Chauncey, Georgia, Sandi Grimes (Steve) of Eastman, Georgia and Deborah Wacter of Macon; his grandchildren, Monica Lazaurs, Vickie Harte, and Barry Harte; five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
