Horace Lewis Baughan

Horace Lewis Baughan, 83, entered into rest on July 27, 2011.

Mr. Baughan was born on November 23, 1927 in Fort Benning, Georgia, and was of the Methodist Faith. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United State Air Force and in the United States Navy as a Pilot. He later retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Engineering Manager in civil service after thirty-eight years. His parents, Voron H. Baughan and Lessie Garrett Baughan; and daughter, Carol Lewis Baughan, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of fifty-five years, Nita LeFlore Baughan; children, Betty Wagner (David), Perry, Steven L. Baughan, Vienna, and Sally (Archie) Richardson, Prattville, Alabama; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor John Lehenbauer of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
