Hoyt Clark, 96, entered into rest on Monday, June 3, 2013.
Hoyt was born on January 31, 1917 in Moultrie, Georgia. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. A devoted member of Central Baptist Church for forty-eight years, he was a member of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class and served as a Deacon. Hoyt was on various church committees, taught boys' Sunday School classes for thirty years and was an avid golfer into his mid-80's. His parents, Albert and Ada Williams Clark; two brothers; and one sister, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Bertha M. Clark, Warner Robins; children, Patrick Clark (Ann), Centerville, Georgia and Bonnie Perdue (David), Sea Island, Georgia; three grandsons, Christopher Clark, David Perdue, III and Blake Perdue; four great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
