Hyong Son Yi

Hyong Son YI, 88, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2004 in her home. Services will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Sunday, March 7 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 4:30 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs.Yi was born in Taegu, Korea, on October 20, 1915. She became a registered nurse and was retired from the University Hospital, Kyong Book University, Taegu, Korea. She moved to the United States in 1980 and in recent years made her home in Bonaire. Mrs. Yi was a member of the Protestant Chapel at Robins AFB. Her husband, Kuk-Ip Yi; father, Kyong-Man Yi; and mother, Wae-Yun Yi, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Moon-Woo Yi, and Chang-Woo Yi and their families of Korea; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Gene VanDeventer, Bonaire; granddaughter, Jennifer Meck; Centerville; and grandson, David VanDeventer, Atlanta.
