Ida Mae Smith

Ida Mae Smith, 89, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

Born in New York, New York, Ida was the daughter of the late Henry and Hyla Rosser Davenport and was of the Protestant faith. She was an accomplished seamstress for Wallach Clothing Store and absolutely loved sewing, arts, and crafts. Ida lived in the middle Georgia area for the past 9 years and one of her favorite pastimes was visiting the Warner Robins Senior Center and make crafts with friends. She also took delight in making jokes and dressing up. Ida will be missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Diane Robinson (Sterling) of Bonaire; two grandchildren, Nadine Washington (Clint) and Sheronne Bubb (Peter); and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20th at McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. At the family's request, her burial will be private.
