Ina Faye White Lewis

Faye Lewis, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of Friday, June 3, 2016.

Faye was born on September 26, 1930 in Ashland, Alabama to the late Effie Bell Morris White and Andrew J. White, Sr. She was a dedicated homemaker, devoting her life to serving the Lord, honoring her husband, and raising her two sons. Faye was also a longtime member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albaugh Lewis; her son, Dennis L. Lewis; and siblings, Ava Ingram, Aaron White, Ona Baker, Edna Peterson, Vivian Bradford, Aubrey White, Nell Wright, and Andy (Junior) White.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, Dr. David Lewis of Placitas, New Mexico; Daughter in Law, Gladys Lewis, six grandchildren; siblings, Norma Speake of Alexander City, Alabama and Gerri Childress of Middleburg, Florida; and a number of adoring nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Lewis will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Faye to your favorite charity.
