Irene Bryant

Irene Merritt Bryant, 83, entered into rest on Sunday, June 6, 2010.

Mrs. Bryant was born on February 2, 1927, in Roberta, and worked at Robins Air Force Base as a clerical typist before retirement. She called Northside Baptist Church her church home. Her husband, Jolly Samuel Bryant, and parents, Grady Merritt and Lillian Andrews Merritt, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Virginia Allan Carey, Yvonne Carroleen Pratt (Jim), Jollisue Beebe and Sean Curtis Bryant; grandchildren, James Allan Carey (Heather), Caitlin Pratt, April Lynn Jones (Corey) and Cynthia Ann Beebe; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Carey and Ciara Lyn Sharpe.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010, at Roberta City Cemetery in Crawford County, Reverend Dave Corson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins GA 31088.
