Irene Douglas

Warner Robins resident Irene Douglas, age 77, passed away on the morning of October 29, 2020. Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Irene was born on March 10, 1943 to the late Charles Stoldt and Florence Stoldt. She was the widow of Anthony Douglas.

While she lived in New Jersey, Irene worked as a telephone operator. After moving to the Middle Georgia area, she was employed at a bill collection agency and afterwards became a manager at Burger King. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Irene could often be found on the dance floor as she loved to dance. She enjoyed her time as a Girl Scout leader as well as traveling and cooking up recipes in the kitchen. Most of all though, Irene loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to treasure her memory include her children, Anthony Douglas of Warner Robins, Bryan Douglas (Rhonda) of Warner Robins, Noreen Scott (Jason) of Shadyside, Maryland, and Michael Douglas (Kelly) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Anthony, Allison, Angela, Rachel, Erick, Jonathan, Dakota, Mellissa, Dale, Chase, Michaela, Natalee, Kinsleigh, Andrea, and Aubrie; sister, Arlene Schuesler of New Jersey; brother, Richard Stoldt of Warner Robins; and eight great grandchildren.
