Irma J. Cunningham

Irma Cunningham, 83, entered into rest on the morning of July 29, 2016.

Irma was born on December 4, 1932 in West Monroe, Louisiana and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a wonderful homemaker and a very loving wife and mother to her husband and children.

Her beloved husband of 50 years, John Waynick Cunningham; parents, Denton F. and Magdaline Thompson Sweeney; and grandson, Jonathan Adam Cunningham preceded her in death.

Irma's memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Barbara Smelser (Jed) and Cathy Williamson (Jackie), both of Warner Robins, and Jerry Roy Cunningham (Sharon) and Johnny Wayne Cunningham (Cindy), both of Fort Valley; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Marvin Sweeney (Mary) of Dayton, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1st in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service, Mrs. Cunningham will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mrs. Cunningham to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
