J.E. ''Buck'' Waters

J.E. “Buck” Waters, 78, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2003 in his home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 108 Church St., Centerville, GA 31028.

Born in Pensacola, FL, Mr. Waters was the son of the late Johnson Edwin and Leila Waters. He was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked in Engineering Planning. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served during WWII. He was a Mason and member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Waters, Warner Robins; sons, Jeffrey F. Waters (Georgeanne), Warner Robins, and Scott E. Waters, Arlington, TX; brother, Cecil L. Waters, Mobile, AL; sisters, Rebecca McCall, Milton, FL, and Annette Cosson, Pensacola, FL; and grandsons, Josh E. Waters and Jarred S. Waters, Warner Robins.
