Perry – Jack E. Mower passed away Thursday, January 22, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 27 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Mower was born in Davenport, Iowa, and grew up in Lomax, Illinois. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service and from Houston Marine after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, the VFW, and the Moose Club. His parents, George Mower and Dorothy Johnson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Leah R. Mower; daughters, Janice Ciesielski, Bonaire; Barbara Veale (Mickey), Bonaire; son, Michael Mower (Wendy), Milledgeville; grandchildren, Jason Carter, Brian Scott, Jennifer Monat, Branndon Veale, Joey Mower, Jackie Mower; step-granddaughter, Danielle Hawkins; great-grandchild, Averi Carter; and stepmother, Mary Mower, Dallas City, Illinois.
