Jackie Lee Pate

June 8, 1960 — September 20, 2018

Jackie Lee Pate, 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018.

Mr. Pate was born on June 8, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas to the late Jackie Lee Nathaniel and Charlotte Walker Pate. He grew up in California and graduated from the Sacramento High School in 1978. With pride and honor, he dutifully served his country in the United States Army before going to work as a civilian security officer. A member of the Baptist faith, his free time was spent fishing, shooting guns at the range, watching NASCAR, and attending auto races at the track in Sacramento. While he had lived in Warner Robins for the past ten years, his ties to Sacramento remained strong—especially when it came to professional sports. His favorites were the San Francisco 49ers, the Oakland Raiders, and the Sacramento Kings. However, nothing brought him more joy in life than the time he spent with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kym Pate.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving sister, Tonya Pate of Warner Robins and Greta Pate of Sacramento, California; his nephews, Kyle Pate and Juwon Pate, and niece, Unique Pate, all of Sacramento, California; three great nieces; adopted daughter, Treel Jones; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
