James Douglas Anderson, 47, passed away at Houston Medical Center on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Born in North Carolina on April 4, 1973, James was the son of Theodore “Andy” Anderson and the late Janet Dolores Bonnett Anderson.
Passionate about construction and building projects, James was most recently employed with MMG Properties in maintenance. In his spare time he enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing. He also loved the yearly birthday camping trips that he and his children would take. A kind soul, James always put others before himself and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His memory will forever be treasured by his fiancé, Leslie Williams; children, Haley Williams, Hannah Williams, Emma Anderson, Gunner Anderson; father, Theodore “Andy” Anderson; siblings, Dennis Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Melissa Gilbert; and many beloved nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Dolores Bonnett Anderson.
Visitations will be Friday, January 1, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 2, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/. Afterward, Mr. Anderson’s inurnment will be private.
