James Louie Darsey

James Louie Darsey passed away at his residence in Byron on Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was 84 years old.

Born in Cochran, Georgia on August 2, 1937, James was the son of the late William Andrew and Bernice Barrs Darsey. A 1957 graduate of Cochran High School, he was a member of the National Guard and retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Systems Analyst. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Janice Faye Register Darsey; daughters, Tammy Lynn Darsey Partain (Darren) of Gray and Cindy Ann Darsey Rice (Jamie) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Logan Rae Partain, Justin A. Rice, and Drew Rice.

The family is receiving friends at their home in Byron.
