James Richard Mcgrath

James McGrath, 78, entered into rest on Friday, August 5, 2016.

James was born on January 1, 1938 in Union City, New Jersey to the late Everett and Viola McGrath. He spent most of his life living in New Jersey prior to moving to Warner Robins twelve years ago. James loved sports, spent time coaching football and baseball and was involved in the Boy Scouts and Civic community.

Left behind to treasure his memory is his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Joyce McGrath; sons, James McGrath, Jr. (Patricia) of Sana Monica, California, Scott McGrath of Warner Robins and Todd McGrath (Rhonda) of Des Moines, Iowa; grandson, Kyle McGrath and granddaughter, Fiona McGrath; siblings, Everett, George, Robert, Roland, Viola, Rita and Dorothy and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of James McGrath to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
