Janet Ann Reneau

October 4, 1946 — April 20, 2022

Devoted mother and grandmother, Janet Ann Reneau of Warner Robins, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 75.

Born in Columbus, Georgia, Janet spent most of her youth in Fort Mitchell, Alabama where she graduated from Chavala High School in Seale, Alabama. She moved to Middle Georgia and became the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Macon State College. She then became a parapro for the Houston County Board of Education for Warner Robins High School, Feagin Mill Middle School, and Bonaire Elementary School until she retired.

Janet served in many capacities. She was an active member of Bonaire United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and volunteered in the Walk to Emmaus. For many years, Janet was the equipment manager for Warner Robins American Little League. She also kept stats for the Warner Robins High School basketball team and the baseball team. Her world revolved around her family. Janet spent countless hours traveling and watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also involved in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Telethon for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Washington and Jeanneatte Juanita Redden.

Left to treasure her memory are her children, Jarred Reneau (Mia) of Elko and Annalisa Shock of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Garrett Luke, Kayla Luke, Hannah Luke, Carly Reneau, Mackenzie Daly, Ella Reneau, and Cooper Reneau; and brother, Bubber Redden of Fort Mitchell, Alabama.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. Janet will be laid to rest privately at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in memory of Janet Reneau to Regency SouthernCare Hospice, 143 S. Hwy 319 #1, Moultrie, GA 31768.
