Janet Marie Defore

Janet Marie DeFore, 49, of Marietta died Wednesday, October 1, 2003. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, October 4, at Kathleen First Baptist Church with the Rev's. Philip Lehman and Ed Siddle officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins.

Born in Beaufort, SC, Mrs. DeFore lived in Marietta for the past 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kathleen. She was employed by the Federal Government as a Human Resources Specialist for twenty-five years. She was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College where she received her masters degree in English.

Survivors include her husband, Michael James Hausman of Marietta, GA; her mother, Annie E. DeFore of Kathleen, GA; one sister, Susie Spengler of Warner Robins, GA; two brothers, Jimmy DeFore of Kathleen, GA and Kenny DeFore of Warner Robins, GA; nieces and nephews.
