Jason Michael Pinyan

On Friday, April 30, 2021, Jason Michael Pinyan passed away unexpectedly at the age of 43.

A Middle Georgia native, Jason was born on April 24, 1978, in Warner Robins and graduated from Northside High School in 1996. Jason went on to work for the Warner Robins Fire Department before accepting a position as a Workload Analyst on Robins Air Force Base. In his spare time, Jason enjoyed nothing more than taking his four-wheeler out hunting for a prized deer or casting a line fishing at the end of a long day. He also loved watching University of Georgia football and was always prepared for game days in the fall. The funny, self-proclaimed “best cook ever”, Jason enjoyed putting his culinary skills to the test for many friends and family members. He never met a stranger, loved deeply, and always protected his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Michael Pinyan; and grandparents, James and Joyce Pinyan; R.L. and Mary Edna Adams; and Gerald White.

His memory will forever be cherished by his children, Kalyn Shehee (Dylan), Logan Pinyan, Kaleigh Finch (A.J.), Elijah Pinyan, Payton Pinyan; grandchildren, Carter Wood and Maddox Wood; mother and step-father, Debra and Brian Wise; siblings, Lisa Chambers and Brianna Wise (Andy); grandmother, Carol White; nieces and nephews, Taylor Chambers, Ansley Harper, Easton Harper, and Avery Harper; as well as several extended family members and friends.

A memorial gathering with Jason’s family will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The memorial service celebrating his life will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Gibbs officiating. At the family's request, friends are encouraged to wear the University of Georgia colors in honor of Jason.
