Jean Bagley Goode

Jean Goode, 77, passed away at Taylor Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 14, 2017.

Jean was born on January 16, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late John and Lillian Bagley. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. Jean enjoyed playing the piano in her younger years. Being from New England, Jean dearly loved the state of New Hampshire. Since she always wanted to return, her family will be scattering her cremated remains there during the upcoming fall foliage display. Jean was a wonderful mother who took great pride in her four children.

Along with her parents, her sister, Norma Bagley, and brother, Robert Bagley, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, John Goode (Kathleen) of Swanzey, New Hampshire; Kathleen Denny (Clyde, Jr.) of Navarre, Florida; James Goode (Debbie) of Canaan, New Hampshire; Karen Justin (Christopher) of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Crystal Goode; Jason Goode; Joseph Strickland; Megan Denny; Joshua Goode; Noah Goode; Wyatt Goode; Leah Wellborn; and Nathan Justin.

A service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jean Bagley Goode to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201 or the charity of donor’s choice.
