Jean Florence Giberson

January 13, 1941 — February 22, 2018

On the evening of Thursday, February 22, 2018, Jean Giberson, 77, passed away peacefully.

Jean was born on January 13, 1941 in Alconbury Weston, Huntingdonshire, England to the late Frederick Charles and Dorothy Olga Mary Morton Baker. A loving mother and devoted homemaker, she would volunteer her time to her church, All Saints Episcopal, of which she was a longtime member, helping at the food bank and with the annual British Tea. Jean was also a very active member of the Daughters of the British Empire. Her spunky personality earned her the nickname “Mean Jean”. Jean was a talented seamstress and in her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and watching NASCAR and Formula 1 car racing. However, her greatest joy was found in time spent with her beloved family and animals.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Patricia Brown (Michael) of Warner Robins; sons, Guy Parker of Bonaire, Michael Giberson of Gray; brother, Keith Baker (Jane); and grandchildren, Stuart Brown, Robert Brown, and Joseph Bechtel.

A memorial service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jean Florence Giberson to All Saints Episcopal Church, 1708 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
