Jean G Houck

Jean G. Houck, 88, entered into rest on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

Mrs. Houck was born on October 4, 1924 in McRae, Georgia. She retired from BellSouth and was a devoted member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Mrs. Houck was also a ten year volunteer with Houston Medical Center. Her husband, Charles Houck, Sr.; parents, Oscar and Sally Gay; and siblings, Jerell Gay, Sue Anderson, and Effie Arnold, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Patti McRae, Macon; grandchildren, Michael Cowart and Michelle Bishop, both of Woodstock, Georgia; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Hortense Walker, Tallahassee, Florida and Jedd Pope, Tampa, Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Salvation Army, 305 Green St,
Warner Robins, GA 31093 or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
