December 23, 1929 — December 17, 2018

Jean L. Dimeler, 88, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 17, 2018.

Jean was born in Berwick, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1929 to the late Michael and Josephine Gross Drothler. She was a great baker and loved showcasing her talent every day while at work in the lunchroom at Warner Robins Junior High School. Jean retired years ago from the Houston County Board of Education with over 20 years as the Assistant Lunchroom Manager at WRJHS.

A founding member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Jean was a staple of the church’s community. She always enjoyed worshipping and fellowshipping with the members and never missed a service. Jean was also an avid baseball fan and loved cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies. She adored her family and doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren every chance she got. Jean leaves behind so many who will remember her smiles that were never in short supply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne S. Dimeler; her daughter, Julie Ann Dimeler; and her siblings, Elsie J. Beck, Betty Keller, Fred Drothler, Paulene Deibler, Carl Drothler, and Earl Drothler.

Jean’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Kathy L. Grube (Danny) and Dennis Dimeler, both of Warner Robins; grandsons, Jason Grube, Josh Grube (Michelle), Jake Grube (Yadira), Dustin Dimeler, and Jeremy Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Enrique Gama, Sofia Grube, Keller Peaster, Tate Peaster, Dani Reese Grube, and Hayes Grube; a host adoring nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her beloved dog, “Chloe.”
