Jeanette Dailey

Jeanette Dailey, 92, joined her beloved husband, James Leatus Dailey in heaven on the evening of Sunday, October 21, 2018.

Jeanette was born in Nicholson, Georgia on December 16, 1925 to the late Wiley and Nora Alexander Barrett. A graduate of Benton High School in Nicholson, she moved to Warner Robins in 1950 and worked at Robins Air Force Base for 37 years before retiring from the base restaurant. Jeanette then worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years before retiring again. She enjoyed camping with family and friends. She loved everybody, was always positive, and provided encouragement to all who met her. Freewill Baptist Church in Warner Robins was her church home.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Dailey.

Jeanette’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving sons, Larry Dailey of Fort Valley, Bob Dailey (Joy) of Warner Robins and Ron Dailey (Carole) of Perry; daughter-in-law, Peggy Dailey of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Terry and Troy Dailey, Angel Jones, Kim Dismuke, and Lindsey Hayes; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Slade officiating. Following the service, Jeanette will be laid to rest next to James Leatus in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
