Jeanette Parnell

Jeanette Parnell, 67, died Wednesday, May 8 at her residence. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11 at Central Baptist Church with interment to follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA, 31093 or Sisters of Mercy, St. Joseph's Hospital 5665 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30342-1764.

Mrs. Parnell was born in Cosby, SC. She was retired and had been a salesperson at Belks Department Store. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry E. and Maggie Mae Kirkland.

Survivors include her husband, James H. Parnell; daughter, Renee Heissenbuttle, Charleston, SC; sons, Kirk Parnell, Benton, LA; Brett Parnell, Charleston, SC; daughter, Lisa Roitzsch, Warner Robins; and nine grandchildren.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
