Jeanne Dylik Zimmermann

On November 6, 2017, Our Lord recalled one of his Angels, Jeanne for reassignment to Heaven. Her work on earth is done and God our commander in chief has other tasks to complete.

Jeanne was born on March 12, 1960 in Lackawanna, New York. With great pride and honor, she served in the United States Air Force. Following her retirement from active duty, Jeanne began her career at Robins Federal Credit Union as a Compliance Officer. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where she was very active in fundraising, greeting, and encouraging others to come to church. Jeanne had a servant’s heart and was always happiest when she was taking care of others.

Her father, August Dylik and oldest brother, Michael Dylik, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Michael Zimmermann of Bonaire; son, Kristopher M. Zimmermann (Megan) of Warner Robins; Ronnie M. Zimmermann (Jamie) of Arizona; grandchildren, Kolin M. Zimmermann; Landon Zimmermann; Taylor A. Zimmermann; Alex M. Zimmermann; mother, Alberta Dylik; siblings, James Dylik; Ronald Dylik; Michele Hefner, and Mark Dylik, as well as many nieces, nephews, and God children.

A visitation with Rosary service will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Jeanne will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, New York.
