Jefferson Monroe Barwick

Jefferson Monroe Barwick, 67, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2007.

Mr. Barwick was born on November 14, 1939 in Haines City, Fla. He attended Sandy Valley Baptist Church, Warner Robins. He retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was a contract negotiator. Proudly, he was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Barwick was an avid outdoorsman. His parents, William Owen Barwick and Estoria Snow Barwick, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Erylane Barwick, Centerville; daughter, Deborah Persons (Brian), Williamstown, VT; son, Jeff Barwick, Jr. (Kim), Dexter, Ga; grandsons, Ethan Persons and William Persons; sisters, Patricia Thomas and Yvonne Cox and brother, William Clovis Barwick.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Sandy Valley Baptist Church, Warner Robins with interment following in Minter Baptist Church Cemetery, Minter, Georgia at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to American Cancer Society 804 Cherry Street Ste. A, Macon, GA 31201.
