Jerlivee Mae Peyton

Jerlivee “Jerri” Mae Peyton, 85, passed away at the Baptist Medical Center, in Jacksonville, Florida.

The daughter of the late John Bunyon and Lillie Evans Allison, Jerri was born on June 19, 1936, in Nantahala, North Carolina. She married the love of her life, Johnnie Peyton of Kentucky on June 21, 1961. A devoted military wife, she supported her husband for over 20 years as he served the United States of America. Coinciding with his time in the military, Jerri worked in various industries to include jewelry, retail, and the medical field, specifically supporting mental health. After settling in Warner Robins, she worked for 20 years as the Office Manager of their business, Peyton’s Television Service.

Jerri was a lifetime member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She loved helping others and volunteering, especially with the Rehoboth Baptist Association. Jerri was passionate about reading her Bible, sewing and crocheting, doing arts and crafts, solving puzzles and word searches, and she loved to cook.

In addition to her parents, Jerri was preceded in death by her siblings, Odeen Allison, Javeen Allison, and sister, Oderay Allison.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband, Johnnie Peyton; children, Rhonda Woodard (Billy), Larry Sanders (Diane), Mike Sanders (Liz); grandchildren, Clint Sanders (Andrea), Michelle Riner (Chris), Heather Woodard (Drew), Rebecca Woodard (Mike), Tiffany McDaniel (Matt), Billie Wood (Cale) and Amy Wallis; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; as well as her beloved Shihtzu, “Charlie Brown.”

Visitation with Jerri’s family will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
