Mr. Jesse Neil Charles passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at the Houston Medical Center. Services will be private.

Mr. Charles was born in Clearwater, Florida. He was retired from Mead Coated Board where he had been a papermaker. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the United States Army and was a Purple Heart recipient. His mother, Ernestine Reader Charles, and brother, Gary Charles, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Verleen Charles, Warner Robins; father, Charles Flemming Charles, Homosassa Springs, FL; son, Keith Charles, Warner Robins; daughter Kim Charles Coxon, Warner Robins; son, Jason Charles, Steinhatchee, FL; brothers, Roger Charles, Clearwater, FL; Raymond Charles, Steinhatchee, FL; Billy Charles, Cairo, GA; Bruce Charles, Lake City, FL; Danny Charles, Milton, FL; sister, Ruthie Lopez, Jacksonville, FL; and eight grandchildren, Russell, Christine, Kersten, Hannah, Cody, Courtney, Emily and Brandi.
