Jessie L. Brewer

Jessie L. “Jay” Brewer, 75, passed away on December 13, 2007.

Mr. Brewer was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 7, 1932. He served his country in the United States Army and was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic. He was also a master mason and a VFW Life member. His parents, Robert and Ethel Brewer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sister, Betty Brewer Parker, Gardendale, Alabama; cousin, Faye McCay; niece, Mona Lee Parker, cousins, Shirley Freeman, Pumpkin Center, Alabama, Barbara Allman, Bessemer, Alabama, Nelda Crozier, Locust Fork, Alabama, and James Johnson, Plano, Texas; and several good friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2007, in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
