Jewell ''Marty'' L. Martin

Jewell “Marty” L. Martin, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2004 in his home. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens in Greenville, SC. Donations may be made to Hospice of Central Georgia or the American Cancer Society, Central Georgia District, Bibb Unit, P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA, 31208.

Mr. Martin was born in Greenville, SC. He was retired from Bear Sterns Brokerage Exchange where he worked as an OP’s Manager. He served as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force. Mr. Martin was a professional musician. His parents, Luther and Ruth Martin, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Martin, Macon; son, Randall Martin, Lakeland, FL; daughter, Robin Chambers, Hopewell, VA; sister, Sharon Baker, Las Vegas, NV; brother, Norman Martin, Piedmont, SC; and four grandchildren.
