Joe William Heddy

Joe William Heddy, 90, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015.

Joe was born on November 2, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Will and Maggie Box Heddy. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Joe then served as a fireman for the Memphis Fire Department until his retirement. He was a member of the Warner Robins Social Club and the Cherokee Village Elks Club in Arkansas. Joe was of the Baptist faith

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Louise Heddy of Warner Robins, children, Joyce Hutcherson (Bill) of Warner Robins, Joe Heddy, Jr. (Jill) of Pensacola, Florida; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Joe will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Joe William Heddy to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins, Ga 31088.
