John B. ''Bear'' Meacham, 50, of Hawkinsville died Tuesday, November 20 at his residence. Services will be held on Friday, November 23 at 10:00am in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, AL on Saturday, November 24 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Meacham was born in Mobile, AL. He was a machinist and a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Meacham.
He is survived by his companion, Tammy Bryant; father, Don Meacham, Reynoldsville, GA; brother, David M. Meacham, Mobile, AL; 3 step-children and 5 step-grandchildren.
