John David Selby

Early on the morning of Friday, September 22, 2017, John David Selby, 36, entered into eternal rest.

John was born on July 10, 1981, in Warner Robins to Douglas Selby and Tammy Wilson. A graduate of Northside High School, John had lived most of his life in the central Georgia area. He was known for being a dedicated worker and an excellent carpenter. He was employed as a construction manager for Piedmont Construction.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring children, Trinity and Hunter Selby of Warner Robins; his father and stepmother, Douglas and Joan Selby of Ivey, GA; his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Scott Wilson of Guyton, GA; his grandmothers, Judith Selby VanZante of Warner Robins, Doris Rowe of Jacksonville, FL, Lilly Sue Burkhalter of Milledgeville, GA, and Shirley Wilson of Gainesville, GA; his grandfather, Wayne Wilson of Cumming, GA; his sister, Jessica Selby Brown (Michael) of Dublin, GA; and a host of other extended family and friends.

The memorial service celebrating John’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
