John Edward Moss

March 22, 1939 — August 26, 2003

John Edward Moss, 64, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2003. Services will be held on Friday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery. A rosary will start at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at McCullough Funeral Home, and visitation will follow until 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088, or to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 250 S. Davis Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Moss was born in Chicago, IL. He was retired from the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam Conflict and earning the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marijane Moss, and parents, Max and Julia Moss.

Survivors include his daughters, Julia Marie Moss and Michelle Marie Ferry, both of Warner Robins; grandsons, John Harrison Moss and Robert William Ferry, Jr., also of Warner Robins; and sister, Betty Swygert, Alexandria, VA.
